Momo

Momo is a type of dumpling originating from Nepal and Tibet. It has gained popularity in various parts of South Asia, including India, Bhutan, and Nepal. Momo is typically made by filling dough wrappers with a mixture of minced meat (such as chicken, lamb, or pork) or vegetables, along with various spices and herbs. The filled dumplings are then steamed or fried until cooked. Momo is often served with a spicy tomato-based sauce or a chili garlic sauce for dipping. It is a popular street food and can also be found in restaurants specializing in Tibetan or Nepalese cuisine. Momo has a unique taste and texture, with the juicy filling and soft dumpling wrapper creating a delightful combination. In recent years, momo has gained international recognition and can be found in various parts of the world, especially in areas with a significant Tibetan or Nepalese diaspora. It has become a beloved food item for many people due to its delicious flavors and versatility in filling options.
